Parts have high requirements for precision and roughness, and it is difficult to process some deep holes, small holes, taper holes, and blind holes, so HDK diamond reamer came into being.
At the beginning, ordinary alloy reamers were used for precision reaming of parts such as 45 steel and quenched steel. However, due to fast wear, low precision, and difficulty in realizing actual production needs, they were gradually replaced by diamond reamers, HDK diamond reamers. The material used for reaming is diamond, which is currently the hardest superhard material. Compared with ordinary alloy reamers for processing 45# steel, quenched steel and other parts, the quality is stable, the processing efficiency is high, and the service life is long. Use HDK diamond reamer to ream 45# steel and quenched steel parts, the aperture size can be controlled within 0.005mm, and the roughness is guaranteed to be Ra0.2.
HDK diamond reamer needs to be sharpened after a long time of use. Remove the nickel nodules on the diamond reamer and expose the diamond particles. Currently, there are two situations for sharpening: a reamer with fine-grained diamonds. After electroplating, you only need to wipe off the nickel nodules on the reamer with alumina or silicon carbide grinding wheels or whetstone, and reveal the edge of the diamond. This kind of grinding is called finishing; the other kind uses coarse particles. After grinding, the top of the diamond reamer is ground into a small flat surface, and a small amount of chips is generated during reaming, which plays the role of squeezing and polishing. This kind of grinding is a veritable grinding. In the process of use, you can choose the appropriate grinding method according to the different situation.
