In the process of processing carbide inserts, problems such as rapid wear and easy chipping often occur, so the production cost is high; Especially large gears not only have high hardness after heat treatment, but also have large deformation, and have high requirements on both wear resistance and impact toughness of the inserts

For gears with hardness between HRC58-62 after heat treatment, the cutting tool needs to meet the following performance requirements:

High tool hardness, good wear resistance and high temperature resistance;

Have sufficient flexural strength and impact toughness;

Has good processing stability and oxidation resistance;

BN-H05 and BN-H10, are mainly used for continuous and light interrupted cutting conditions, with balanced wear resistance and fracture resistance, suitable for high-speed finishing. At high speed, the tool life is 5-6 times that of ceramic tools.

BN-H21 grade is mainly used for strong interrupted cutting conditions due to its excellent tool tip strength and strong shock resistance (gear end faces have group holes or inner holes have keyways, etc

BN-S20 grade belongs to Solid CBN Inserts, which can not only remove the gear deformation with a large margin, but also can strongly interrupt the gear tooth surface. It has high hardness, excellent thermal shock resistance and wear resistance, and its tool life is longer than ceramic tools. N times.
